Leo Je-Eon Lee (b. 1999, South Korea) is an artist based in New Haven. His practice includes but is not limited to painting, writing, bookmaking, and video art. He is currently majoring in art (painting and printmaking) at Yale University. His basis in graphic design comes from his experience working in branding at CDR Associates in 2021. As a painter, he has been trying to integrate his love for (instances of) language into a painting process. His current work is made from the procedure of self-talk, in which he practices a systematic repetition of shitty translation.
